By specifying 4-bolt flange and straight thread O-ring connections throughout the system, leaks from fluid connectors can be eliminated. Our experience has proven that no matter how carefully pipe threads are assembled (even with the use of sealers or tape), thermal expansion, contraction, and vibration will eventually produce leaks.
We strongly urge system designers to specify 4-bolt flange and straight thread O-ring connectors exclusively.
